Brigit’s Cauldron

Author Unknown

You can make a Brigit’s Cauldron by pouring Epsom salt into the bottom of a cast iron Cauldron (about an inch high) and then covering it with rubbing alcohol Covering the salt over about 1 inch then you light the alcohol with a match and let it burn. It pretty much burns for about 45 min. to an hour, it burns cool giving off relatively little heat. It is not meant for heat but for “light”. The Light Of Brigit. It’s quite lovely when it was lit.
